The Leading Voice of Golden Rule Dialogue, Dr. Clyde Rivers

If you really fulfill the Royal Law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well ---- James 2:8

As the leading voice in Golden Rule Dialogue, Dr. Clyde Rivers is bringing the Royal Law to the world. Dr. Rivers explains, "While many view the Golden Rule from a religious perspective, it is actually revealed as a Royal Law in scripture. It is a law based on governance, not religion."

The leader of the Global Golden Rule Movement is building a Royal Law platform that is based upon the sovereign King perspective of God, which can be seen in the Bible where it declares in Psalm 24:1, "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein."

Dr. Rivers insists that this bible passage clearly shows that God is King, Lord and Ruler over the earth, the whole world, which includes all that dwell therein. God is King and He established a Royal Law by which mankind would be governed.

No matter what one believes about God, or even if there is no belief in any divine entity, most people will agree on the Royal Law. It's not a religious law and it carries more weight than a cultural code. 

"It is amazing that all of the major religions of the world agree on this one ethic: Treat others the way you want to be treated. Love your neighbor as yourself,"  concludes Dr. Rivers, "As I travel around the world and see various nations or communities in conflicts due to racism, tribalism, sexism, and many types of divisions, I see all of it rooted in one single law that is being violated: They are violating the Royal Law, the Golden Rule." 

As Dr. Rivers is called into communities or nations to mediate or expedite peaceful solutions, he finds that he is able to bring the keys to peace and development through Golden Rule Dialogue and the promotion of the Royal Law.

GOLDEN RULE DIALOGUE EXPERT DR. CLYDE RIVERS FOSTERS PEACE IN GHANA AFRICA

Dr. Clyde Rivers was in Ghana, Africa December 4, 2016,  just days before their elections, where he met with the National Peace Council of the Republic of Ghana, Prof. Emmanuel K. Asante. Together they established the Accra Declaration, which is a commitment to a peaceful election, signed by all parties. Among their talks they discussed establishing the Golden Rule as a Youth Peace Program to help build systems of peace in the Republic of Ghana.

In Harrisburg PA at the National Civil War Museum on November 14, 2015. IChange Nations™ and the Golden Rule International presented a Culture of Honor to the HoodRise Nation Urban Movement recognizing this movement and it’s leaders for their dedication to bringing honor and lifting the lives of those caught in the culture of the “hood” in their cities. He met with many different entrepreneurs from the Caribbean States that gathered to strategize on economic issues facing the Caribbean countries. Their brainstorming sessions addressed the challenges these islands face. World Peace Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers of the Golden Rule International was a special guest on June 8^th for Radio Show – Eyes on Washington. Eyes on Washington Radio Program, with radio hosts Doug Basler and Marty McClendon, debate top issues from a Christian perspective. They broadcast information and commentary from Washington State to Washington D.C.

The Golden Rule as a Global Ethic to better mankind was central to the conversation with the radio hosts Doug Basler and Marty McClendon. Ambassador Rivers was asked what is the importance of the Golden Rule? Ambassador Rivers explained, “My message embraces the point that every individual person alive has value. As a matter of fact, if every individual were able to live out his or her particular contribution to society, our world would be a better place. It would be a place where the fulfillment of the needs of nations would be met because every person’s gift would be a contribution to the success of those nations. The open door to this kind of Culture of Honor is the Golden Rule Global Ethic – “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” This ethic lifts everyone higher and builds great communities and nations. Ford Presidential Library with the awards being presented by Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers the Representative to the United Nations for the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, North American Division - New York. The assembly hosted a vast representation of Human Rights Organizations Entrepreneurs and Politicians. Each individual in attendance denotes leadership that spans the scope from Environmental to Spiritual leadership. Each doing their part and committed to one cause, ‘treating others the way you want to be treated’ – the Golden Rule.

Charles Hughes and Dr. Gordon Bradshaw have worked together to create the Community Civility Counts Initiative (CCC). This initiative is designed to create awareness that, we can be better in every area of life. And in so doing we will live in a civil manner and in a civilized society. The CCC has created the motto, “Together We Win!” These men are working together with the Public Policy Committee of Gary, Indiana Chamber of Commerce to spearhead this initiative, also partnering with The Times Media Company for the launching.

Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Dr. Bradshaw with the highly esteemed Golden Rule International Award.

Dr. Gordon Bradshaw has served his community for over 42 years. He served in the Public Safety/Government sector and the Faith-Based community. He is also the Founder of the 3M Project Global Initiative and is a member of the Kingdom Congressional International Alliance, where he serves as the Vice President of the organization.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “Dr. Bradshaw is an exemplary model of leadership. The legacy he will leave to the next generation is that of service to humanity. CHARLES HUGHES RECOGNIZED GLOBALLY FOR HIS SERVICE TO EMPOWER COMMUNITIES

Charles Hughes is the Executive Director of the Gary, Indiana Chamber of Commerce. His life of service to the City of Gary, Indiana has brought global recognition. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Charles Hughes with the prestigious Golden Rule International Award. He was appointed as a Goodwill Peace Ambassador for Golden Rule International at a ceremony held on April 17, 2015 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Charles Hughes serves his community at multiple levels. As a fireman for 34 years, reaching the rank of Battalion Chief, he has been recognized for creating a strong relationship between the department and the community. Mr. Hughes also served for 16 years as a member of the Gary, Indiana City Council, with two of his terms served as the President of the Council. His success also enabled him to serve as the Education Chairman for the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns. Hughes continued his dedication to service as the Chairman of the Committee of National League of Cities, Public Safety and Crime Prevention. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “These accomplishments prove to the world that he is qualified to serve as a Goodwill Peace Ambassador for the Golden Rule and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative. We are honored to have Charles Hughes serve with us globally.”

Leconte University presented Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers with an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership in Humanities. The Library of Congress Haiti recognizes Leconte University and it is the first private university in the history of the Republic of Haiti to present this award for tireless effort to bring peace to the world.

The citation given to Dr. Rivers stated in part, “Your belief in ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’  - the Golden Rule, incorporates a belief system that sees no bounds, only ardent activity guided by the grace of God. Through this ideology, you have created a multi-cultural faith based initiative to resolve issues and concerns worldwide… As a World Peace Ambassador your commitment to promote unity and understanding, allows you to surpass obstacles be they culturally, racially or religiously inspired. Universite Leconte D’Haiti welcomes a partnership to utilize your leadership and administrative gifts to collaborate in the restoration of its prominence to the pursuit of education, social and economic development for the people of Haiti. Your vision has brought back the lost art of honor, which has earned you the respect as a distinguished leader among Heads of State, former Presidents, Clergy, Dignitaries and Universities worldwide.”

Ambassador Rivers said, “It speaks volumes to be honored by a non-religious university for trying to bring unity to the people of the world. Every individual born is valuable to the world and especially valuable to God. So we must protect the image of God in every individual born in this world.”

On February 15, 2015, Dr. Jenny Lopez, a Representative for IChange Nations in the country of El Salvador had the privilege of presenting the Former First Lady of El Salvador, Vanda Pignato, with the IChange Nations Global Leadership Award and the Golden Rule International Award. She was honored for her tireless effort in protecting women’s rights in the Republic of El Salvador.  

Dr. Jenny Lopez said, “I have never been in any event this prestigious in my life. The Former First Lady of El Salvador, Vanda Pignato, is worthy of these awards. Her life actions speak louder than her words.”

Dr. Lopez also took the Golden Rule to the Trinity Broadcasting Network in El Salvador. She shared with the nation the importance of everyone living the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “In the days ahead world, be watching the country of El Salvador. This will become a nation where the Golden Rule is the guiding principle of the country.”

GOLDEN RULE BAHAMAS A MAJOR SUCCESS

On February 15, 2015 the Golden Rule reformation hit the Bahamas. The recipients of this well-earned award were some of the top leaders in the different segments of the Bohemian system. These leaders have exemplified the Golden Rule in their market place. They have made their community a better place.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers challenged these leaders to make their nation a Golden Rule Nation. Rivers said, “I have never seen so much enthusiasm from the leaders of a nation to adopt and create this working philosophy for their nation - ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated’ - the Golden Rule. Every life in every nation is priceless. I am truly humbled and happy to welcome these fellow Ambassadors of the Golden Rule to our global community.”

We are establishing the International Environmental Award in honor and acknowledgement of his work on the protection of the environment of Ethiopia and his advocate work for the Land Use Policy of Ethiopia.”

Kathleen Flynn, the President of Martin Luther King Jr. Association of Santa Clarita Valley, CA, asked Dr. Clyde Rivers to speak at the Northern California Martin Luther King Day event.  The event took place in San Francisco, CA on January 19^th, 2015.

The auditorium was filled to capacity as Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers addressed the audience on the importance of living the Golden Rule as a life style, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Dr. Clyde Rivers commented, “It was impressive to see the diversity of cultures, races and religions honoring the cause of the famous leader, Martin Luther King Jr. It was a great honor and gives me great hope for the world, seeing all the people that still believe in peace and equity.”
