WORLD CIVILITY SPOKESMAN, DR. CLYDE RIVERS MEETS WITH CHICAGO ALDERMAN

Uptown Chicago, USA--- World Civility Spokesman, Dr. Clyde Rivers, met with Alderman, James Cappleman of Ward 46 in April 2017, regarding the issues of violence and crime and his efforts to take peace into his ward.

Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “It was very enlightening to hear of the huge diversity in Alderman Cappleman’s Ward 46, which is a mini-microcosm of the world.”

Since meeting with the alderman and discussing the challenges within his ward, World Civility Spokesman Rivers, has begun working to put together a Golden Rule strategy that will help turn the Wards’ problems of violence around.

Rivers said, “We want to create a new culture; a Golden Rule Culture that will help establish acts of civility to overturn the culture of violence in the City of Chicago. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream, we have a solution.”

In attendance at the meeting with Alderman Cappleman was Pastor Olusola Abraham Adesayo who is Head Pastor of Christian Fellowship For All Nations, and Dr. Gladys Loggin, Chief Executive Officer of USA Africa Economic and Business Development Center. These prestigious individuals will be working with World Civility Spokesman, Dr. Clyde Rivers to establish a new culture over Chicago.

Worth, Texas, USA--- Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, North American Division Leader, World Peace Ambassador Clyde Rivers brought the Golden Rule Peace Initiative to North America at a Golden Rule Event in Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas. The event was held on the campus of Texas Christian University on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Top humanitarians who serve in the causes of bringing proper people-treatment to humanity, were honored at this prestigious event.

"We had the ability to bring forty new Golden Rule World Peace Ambassadors from this area into the world peace arena. iCHANGE NATIONS™ PRESENTS TWO ICN™ PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARDS




Gary, Indiana, USA--- Dr. Chuck Hughes, President of the Gary Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Gordon Bradshaw, Head of Public Policy for the Gary Chamber, were honored on a global stage on April 13, 2017, in Gary Indiana, by the Founder and President of iChange Nations™, Dr. Clyde Rivers.

"It was my privilege to honor these two men for establishing the Community Civility Counts Initiative and the platform for the World Civility Day," announced Dr. Rivers, "Dr. Hughes and Dr. Bradshaw have created an initiative that is reeducating cultures on how to get along and be civil. This is a heroic effort to change the world through establishing policy in their state that was adopted unanimously."

These two men were honored in the company of last year's awardee, H.E. Vera Tembo Chiluba, the former First lady of Zambia. She won the award for serving the underprivileged communities and people of Zambia.

Gary, Indiana, USA--- The World Civility Spokesperson, Dr. Clyde Rivers gave an electrifying speech on the importance for world civility and the need for Golden Rule Dialogue to establish civility in the nations of the world. Dr. Rivers was the keynote speaker for the Community Civility Counts Initiative known as World Civility Day, which was hosted on April 13, 2017.

Organizers of Community Civility Counts cited incidents of disrespect, discourtesy, intolerance, bullying and violence in all communities, as their motivation for raising the conscious level of everyone from every walk of life.

Dr. Rivers praised their efforts and added another unifying voice in their message of change that whether in politics, business, education or our personal lives, we can be better. We must be better in order to live in a civil manner and in a civilized society.

"I would like to thank the Gary Chamber of Commerce President, Dr. Charles Hughes and the Public Policy Department Head, Dr. Gordon Bradshaw for creating this initiative from the Gary Chamber of Commerce." FORMER PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA RECEIVES HONORARY DOCTORATE FROM LATIN UNIVERSITY OF THEOLOGY, USA

Zambia, Africa - January 2017:  iChange Nations™ International Commissioner for Latin University of Theology, Professor Clyde Rivers, honored the first Republican President of Zambia Africa,  Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, by presenting him an honorary Doctorate in Societal Human Rights for his work to liberate the people of Africa from colonialism and for uniting his nation. Zambia has over 70 tribes and they are united to this day because of Dr. Kaunda’s efforts. He also served as the Chairman of the African Union and labored for peace on the continent of Africa. He received this honor in his home in Lusaka, Zambia.

Latin University of Theology has been operating for more than a decade and has graduated over 25,000 missionaries and ministers from the United States, Latin America, Europe and Africa. This distance-learning university is based out of Inglewood California. The university provides degrees in Theology, Pastoral Ministry, and Biblical Counseling. Dr. Manuel Tigerino is the Founder and President of Latin University of Theology.

“Latin University of Theology and Dr. Manuel Tigerino have a desire to see great individuals honored for their skills and philosophy,” Professor Rivers shared. “Their labors need to be awarded around the world. The world needs to learn of the great works of these individuals. For this reason, I have been given the honor of representing LUT, to bestow honor upon outstanding individuals. This is truly a privilege.”

On December 5, 2016, during a trip into the Republic of Ghana Africa, Golden Rule Dialogue Expert, Dr. Clyde Rivers was interviewed by popular radio host, Prince. Dr. Rivers was able to establish Golden Rule Dialogue, calling upon all citizens to value honor, peace and every human life, in anticipation of the country's upcoming elections.

Dr. Rivers said, “Prince is a true statesman for the media of Ghana. I appreciated his straight forward questions and his appreciation for honesty and truthfulness in the media. It was such a privilege to be able to air, on this station, our message of the Golden Rule and peace and development for this great country. Thank you to CLASS RADIO and their host, Prince.”

Together they established the Accra Declaration, which is a commitment to a peaceful election, signed by all parties. Among their talks they discussed establishing the Golden Rule as a Youth Peace Program to help build systems of peace in the Republic of Ghana.

Dr. Clyde Rivers, was recently asked to visit El Salvador on behalf of their Lotto System. He was able to experience the great work the lottery is doing to help their small communities. They are providing resources to help create a better life for their people. Dr. Rivers was able to experience the joy and gratitude of the beautiful people of El Salvador. The lottery is looking to encourage and provide for the next generation through their endeavors.

The leaders of the Lotto honored iChange Nations™ Founder and President Dr. Rivers during his stay in El Salvador. They recognized his heart for humanity and his humanitarian work around the world. They stated, “Dr. Rivers makes us feel we are not alone in this work.” Dr. Rivers has been invited to return to El Salvador and continue his labors with this great country to honor their work and the great people of El Salvador.

Our journalism has connected the world to his message of the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” as the world’s most profound ethic for global peace and development. Dr. Rivers movement of the Golden Rule has hundreds of participants around the world. DR. CLYDE RIVERS SHARES THE GOLDEN RULE AT MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY

Kathleen Flynn, the President of Martin Luther King Jr. Association of Santa Clarita Valley, CA, asked Dr. Clyde Rivers to speak at the Northern California Martin Luther King Day event.  The event took place in San Francisco, CA on January 19th, 2015.

The auditorium was filled to capacity as Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers addressed the audience on the importance of living the Golden Rule as a life style, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Dr. Clyde Rivers commented, “It was impressive to see the diversity of cultures, races and religions honoring the cause of the famous leader, Martin Luther King Jr. It was a great honor and gives me great hope for the world, seeing all the people that still believe in peace and equity.”

TEXAS JUDGE WINS GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In August 2014 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Judge Sam Griffin with the highly esteemed Golden Rule International Award.

Judge Griffin is a 12th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge in Texas and serves his people in this capacity. He also has traveled to the Middle East and other parts of the world to help aid people in improving their quality of life.

Dr. Clyde Rivers is quoted saying “To have a judge leave the bench to help humanity is a quality that makes this man so great. His life exemplifies the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We need more champions like him in the world. We proudly welcome him to the Golden Rule International Goodwill Peace Ambassadorship family of world peace makers.”

The message of peace is spreading worldwide. iChange Nations President, Dr. Clyde Rivers and the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative was in Guatemala City to honor topmost achievers for their noble work to better the nation of Guatemala.

Mauricio Juarez, in an advisory position for iChange Nations Guatemala, put together an influential delegation of politicians and spiritual leaders to hear the message of peace and unity. Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “It is a day to be glad, when the political arena and the spiritual arena connect for the betterment of a nation. These two groups are creating great ideas to bring peace and unity to the nation of Guatemala.” Golden Rule International Awards, as well as, United Graduate College and Seminary International honorary degrees were presented to key people at this gathering.

Ford Presidential Library in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on August 26, 2014 – Dr. Clyde Rivers, Director of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International, presented Laurie Cardoza-Moore with the Golden Rule International Award.  This award was presented because of Mrs. Cardoza-Moore’s extraordinary work as a Special Envoy to the United Nations for Israel. She labors on behalf of this nation to spread the message and defend Israel and the Jewish people against the new Anti-Semitism.

Dr. Clyde Rivers stated, “Mrs. Cardoza-Moore is the embodiment of a true Ambassador of the Golden Rule International. We are honored to welcome her to the alumni of the distinguished list of global Golden Rule International Award recipients. Congressman Jim Beall of the State of California Wins The Golden Rule International Award

Ambassador Clyde Rivers, the North American Division Leader for the Golden Rule International and the Representative to the United Nations, New York for Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, awarded Congressman Jim Beall the prestigious Golden Rule International Award. The ceremony was conducted on June 8th, 2014 at the Star of David Ministry in San Jose, California.

Ford Presidential Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Ambassador Fidelia Graand-Galon of the Republic of Suriname, South America received the Golden Rule International Goodwill Ambassadorship Award. The Golden Rule Award is given to those whose lives exemplify the motto: “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Ambassador Clyde Rivers, the head of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International, says, “Ambassador Fidelia Graand-Galon’s life has been poured out to the people of the Caribbean especially Suriname and the women of these countries and her Maroon people. On September 14, 2013 in North Miami, Dr. Clyde Rivers presented the Golden Rule Award International to Representative Daphne Campbell, the State of Florida Representative for the 108th District. She received this prestigious award for her willingness to proclaim the Golden Rule to the citizens of North Miami Day County. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”
