AMBASSADOR MUSSIE HAILU RECEIVES ICHANGE NATIONS PERSON OF THE YEAR AWARD

Ambassador Mussie Hailu, one of the world’s top philanthropists, is the first recipient of the iChange Nations Person of the Year Award. The award was presented by Professor Clyde River, President of iChange Nations, at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum during the Golden Rule International Award Ceremony.

The mission of iChange Nations™ is to bring back the lost art of honor by building a culture that recognizes individuals throughout the world, those who have accomplished extraordinary humanitarian efforts to effectively change nations. iChange Nations™, with its collaborative partners, have implemented an International Honorary Award infrastructure. This infrastructure empowers and equips our citizens and alumni members with the tools needed to effectively pursue and transform the world.

Professor Rivers commented, “I have watched the work of Ambassador Hailu as one of the worlds top peace activists for several years. He is responsible for bringing unity and peace to several nations of the world. He is the Founder of the peace organization Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI) that has worked actively since 2003 to promote an interfaith culture of peace. Ambassador Hailu established the Golden Rule International Award, as well as, the initiative of the Golden Rule International Award Day. We have now reached over 130 nations of the world with the message of the Golden Rule –  ‘treat others as you want to be treated’. ”

Golden Rule International Award Given to Phinehas Kinuthia, A Native Kenyan

Phinehas Kinuthia, humanitarian, author of the book, From Dreaming to Becoming, and a native Kenyan was awarded the Golden Rule International Award on April 4, 2014 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers the head of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International, says, “Phinehas Kinuthia has the heart and compassion of a true humanitarian. He has inspired lives locally and internationally through his strong humanitarian leadership. He lives the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ This is why he is a recipient of the this prestigious award.”

The Golden Rule International Award is now established in 120 nations of the world. This organization seeks out top achievers that live the Golden Rule in their everyday life. This is a new global ethic that the leadership of the Golden Rule International Award, Patron, current President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde and Ambassador Mussie Hailu has embraced and is promoting globally. A. L. Gill, a world traveler and author was awarded the Golden Rule International Award in April 2014 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. When we think of A. L. Gill we think of a humanitarian that is helping the world on several fronts. He has traveled the world extensively having been in over 85 countries over 50 times.  He has over 20 million books circulating around the world.

Dr. Bernie Torrance is a pioneer in bringing training in business ethics globally. His organization, La Red has done work in over 80 nations around the world. This organization has established tools, when applied and activated, can bring efficiency within organizations.

President Roberto Mukaro Borrero of the Taino Nation Receives the Golden Rule International Award

The President of the Taino Nation, Roberto Mukaro Borrero received the Golden Rule International Award on August 30, 2013 at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

President Borrero received this prestigious international award for standing up for the Taino Nation when the world systems said the Taino people did not exist anymore. He fought to keep his nation recognized as a legitimate people group. The United States Census now recognizes the Taino people.

Dr. Martin Williams Receives International Award at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum

On August 30, 2013 Dr. Martin Williams was a recipient of the Golden Rule International Award. The service was held at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum. Dr. Williams received this award for his excellence in leadership globally. He works with cutting edge leadership for all cultures and generations through Global Leadership Network.  Ambassador Clyde Rivers received the Award for Dr. Williams as he was out of the country doing leadership training.

We had several influential humanitarians from several nations of the world in attendance. It was an honor when Dr. Williams asked that I would receive this award on his behalf. Dr. Martin Williams is a great world leader and humanitarian.”

On August 30, 2013 at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum Dr. Cedric Blackeagle, former President and Chairman of the Crow Nation, became a Good Will Ambassador of Peace for Golden Rule International. Ambassador Clyde Rivers the head of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International presented Dr. Cedric Blackeagle this prestigious international award.

He is responsible for keeping the water rights of the Crow Nation for the Crow people. This is a heroic act because water is life and keeping the water rights for his people will help his nation live on. I am very honored that Dr. Blackeagle has agreed to help us bring a culture of peace to the Native American Nations through the Golden Rule International Award by becoming a Good Will Ambassador of Peace.”

DR. CLYDE RIVERS RECOMMENDS GERALD R. FORD PRESIDENTIAL MUSEUM TO LEADERS AROUND THE WORLD

This museum is inspiring, prestigious and is highly recommended by Dr. Clyde Rivers to come and receive the education offered by this institution. 

Former President Gerald Ford took office in America during one of the most tumultuous times in America’s history. Within a three-year period he was able to instill integrity and leadership back to the United States of America. Any government around the world could learn from this great example and role model of Gerald R. Ford. This museum walks you through the history and the restoration of American democracy.

On May 31, 2013, Dr. Clyde Rivers had the privilege of bringing the Golden Rule International Award to the State of Michigan. Dr. Rivers is the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI) Representative to the United Nations in New York as well as a member of the leadership team of the Golden Rule International Award. The Golden Rule is “Treat other the way you want to be treated.” This award has been created by Dr. Mussie Hailu, Board Chairman of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award, to help establish cultures of peace around the world. The leaders Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award look to honor people that live the Golden Rule as a lifestyle. The Golden Rule International Award is now established in 120 nations of the world. The current President Girma Wolde of Ethiopia is the Parton of Golden Rule International.
