By emphasizing a message of peace through God's Royal Law, Golden Rule Dialogue Expert, Dr. Clyde Rivers played a key role in the establishing of the first United States-Africa Chamber of Commerce in Ghana.

On December 6, 2016 in Accra, Ghana, the United States -Africa Chamber of Commerce (US-ACC) opened its first office, with the ethic of the Golden Rule established within the Ghanaian business community.

One of the primary goals of US-ACC is to help strengthen trade relations between small and medium scale business enterprises in Ghana and the United States. This can be accomplished by empowering them with the resources, connections and exposure needed to form international partnerships within peaceful national environments.

The US-ACC, in collaboration with iChange Nations (ICN), launched the office on the theme: “Engendering Growth and Development through Peace and Cooperation”.

The Golden Rule of Business being used by US-ACC says, “Treat others the way you want to be treated”.

World Peace Ambassador, Dr Clyde Rivers, was in Ghana promoting the message of the Golden Rule as part of a campaign that Ghana would have a peaceful election, which would open doors for businesses.

He said Africa had the resources that the world needs, but the world was concerned about peace because where there is no peace, there is no development.

Dr Rivers said, “We are going to bring the golden rule into the system, to teach people how to treat others the way they want to be treated, which would bring an environment of peace that will promote business, development and empower Ghanaians to thrive and create their own economy”.

GOLDEN RULE DIALOGUE LEADS TO PEACEFUL ELECTIONS IN GHANA

Ghana has a new president-elect in the person Nana Akuffo Addo of the New Patriotic Party, and just as important as the election results was the peaceful response from all parties and citizens of the nation. Directly connected to this peaceful response was the message of peace and the Golden Rule that Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers was able to bring just days prior Ghana's national election.

Dr Rivers said, “We were able to bring the golden rule into the election, and teach people that they must treat others the way they want to be treated, which will bring an environment of peace that will promote business, development and empower Ghanaians to thrive and create their own economy.”

Dr. Clyde Rivers was in Ghana just days before their national election, where he met with the National Peace Council of the Republic of Ghana led by Prof. Emmanuel K. Asante. Together they established the Accra Declaration, which was a commitment to a peaceful election, signed by all parties. Among their talks they discussed establishing the Golden Rule as a Youth Peace Program to help build systems of peace in the Republic of Ghana.

Dr. Rivers said, “It was such a privilege to sit with Prof. Emmanuel Asante and discuss plans to help establish peace and development in his country. We talked about how to involve the strength of the next generations of Ghanaians through a Golden Rule education model based on peace. We look forward to further interactions with the leadership of the Republic of Ghana as we return and promote Golden Rule Peace and Development.”

As the leading voice in Golden Rule Dialogue, Dr. Clyde Rivers is bringing the Royal Law to the world. Dr. Rivers explains, "While many view the Golden Rule from a religious perspective, it is actually revealed as a Royal Law in scripture. It is a law based on governance, not religion."

The leader of the Global Golden Rule Movement is building a Royal Law platform that is based upon the sovereign King perspective of God, which can be seen in the Bible where it declares in Psalm 24:1, "The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein."

Dr. Rivers insists that this bible passage clearly shows that God is King, Lord and Ruler over the earth, the whole world, which includes all that dwell therein. God is King and He established a Royal Law by which mankind would be governed.

No matter what one believes about God, or even if there is no belief in any divine entity, most people will agree on the Royal Law. It's not a religious law and it carries more weight than a cultural code.

In Rogers Park Chicago at the Sullivan High School, over 40 top Humanitarians and Activists gathered as World Peace Ambassador Clyde Rivers brought the Culture of Honor to a number of prestigious recipients. One of these recipients was the renowned South African Freedom Fighter, Gideon Mahlathini Makhanya, who was honored for his tireless efforts to bring peace and freedom to South Africa. 

The individuals awarded the Golden Rule International Award join the many influential Golden Rule International Alumni around the world. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” These recipients were awarded because their lives are an example of this New Global Peace Policy.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “To find people fighting for humanity is a wonderful happening. I was so honored to be able to bestow on Gideon Makhanya the Global World Peace Ambassadorship with the Golden Rule International Award.” Ambassador Rivers went on to say, “Watching the hearts of these passionate people working to see the Golden Rule come to their city Chicago, was overwhelming.”

Ambassador Rivers’ message at this event was a change of conversation. He spoke of the worlds need to value the gifts from God in every individual. He stated, “We lose everything when a person looses his or her life. It’s a tragic lose for the world and we suffer the lack of that contribution. That gift will never enter into our existence. We must work to preserve every individual in the world because their gifts are necessary for our world to develop and be great.”

THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD GOES TO CHIEF OF POLICE DAVID ENYEART

Chief of Police for Toledo Oregon, Chief David Enyeart, received the prestigious global Golden Rule International Award in January 2016 in Newport Oregon The event planned and organized by Youth Add Value™ in conjunction with IChange Nations™ and the Golden Rule International Award Systems. Chief Enyeart is highly motivated to leverage 17 years of achievements in law enforcement and 37 years in the Oregon National Guard to provide dedicated service to the state and federal governments. Chief Enyeart has a Master in Strategic Studies and a BS in Psychology.

MG Enyeart had three combat deployments, two to Afghanistan and one Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was honored with the Defense Superior Service Medal and Legion of Merit for superior performance; two Bronze Star Medal’s for actions during combat operations, three Meritorious Service Medal, and four Army Commendation Medal for superior performance in a variety positions.  Awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, for excellent execution of a joint mission with the Air Force, and a Combat Infantry Badge for heroic actions under fire. He now uses his vast experience to better the community he is serving. Ambassador Rivers commented, “This highly decorated man, Chief Enyeart, is living a life that exemplifies the Golden Rule ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We are fortunate to have a man of his caliber as one of our World Peace Ambassador and the city of Toledo should be proud to have him serving their community. Youth Add Value™ is a movement manned by a group youth highly trained by IChange Nation’s™ executive, Dr. Michal Pitzl. Siletz Mayor John Robinson received the Golden Rule International Award on Capitol Hill Washington DC late 2015. The Golden Rule International Award motto is, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Mayor Robinson serves his community of Siletz and he has a heart for mankind and proves it by his actions. He has worked to provide his community and outlying areas on the Central Oregon Coast with tools for preparedness in the event of a disaster and education for survival. He values the indigenous Siletz Indian Tribe that makes up a great part of his local community and seeks to be the best mayor he can be.

Winston Garraway. Hon. Winston Garraway has proven that his lifestyle is an example of the Golden Rule and for this reason this esteemed Golden Rule International Award was bestowed upon him. Hon. Winston Garraway was appointed to the Senate as Agency Manager in 2013 and continues to this day to work for his country.
